Μ ΙΟΥΛΙΟϹ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟϹ ΚΑΙ/ϹΑΡ ΑΥΓ Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II, on the left, facing draped bust of Serapis, wearing kalathos, on the right. Rev. ΜΑΡΚΙΑΝΟΠΟΛΕΙ/ΤΩΝ Coiled serpent (Glykon) with bearded head to left; in field to right, E. Hristova/Jekov 6.44.22.1 (this coin illustrated). RPC VIII online ID 27865 (this coin illustrated). Varbanov 2101. A beautiful piece with a wonderful green patina and an unusually detailed rendering of Glykon on the reverse. Minor edge cracks, otherwise, good very fine.
